Investigators opened two criminal cases against the former head of interior Ministry in the Tomsk region the General-major retired Igor Mitrofanov. About it Interfax reported in the press service of the regional Department of the FSB.
the Investigation is conducted under article about bribe reception in especially large size and on fraud in obtaining benefits from the use of official position.
“the Former head of the regional police for a discount of 1.7 million rubles for the purchase of four cars promised the businessman not to make it answerable for illegal banking activity”, — stated in the message FSB.
in addition, it was found that Mitrofanov has provided false information to the Department of retirement services, in connection with which the assessed overpayment of pension with application of the increased regional coefficient — 50 percent — was more than 180 thousand rubles.
Mitrofanov was dismissed as head of the Tomsk Department of internal Affairs in June 2016 by order of the President of Russia.
