Putin instructed to develop a decree on the national development of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin on the results of the message to the Federal Assembly instructed his administration to develop a decree that defines the national development goals of the country until 2024. This was reported on the website the Kremlin on Friday, March 16.

the presidential Administration should ensure the development of the draft decree by April 15. The document, in particular, should include the entry of Russia “among the five largest economies in the world, including providing economic growth above the world”.

in addition, the national development of the country should provide for the increase in population and increase in life expectancy to 78 years by 2024 and to 80 years by 2030.

Also, the draft decree should define the national goals, appropriate targets and strategic objectives in areas such as health, education, demography, housing and the urban environment, international cooperation and export, productivity, small business, and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative, safe and quality roads, environment, digital economy.

In February 2016 Vladimir Putin announced patriotism as a national idea. He stressed that this idea should not be linked to the activities of any political party.
