Sobchak asked Kiev to let her in the Crimea

the Candidate in presidents of Russia from party “the Civil initiative” Ksenia Sobchak appealed to the Ukrainian Embassy with the request to permit her visit to Crimea. She announced this on air of radio station “Echo of Moscow” on Tuesday, March 6.

“I have already sent a letter to the Embassy of Ukraine, we are waiting for the answer. If I go to the Crimea, only through Ukrainian territory. I think that’s right,” said Sobchak in response to the question about intention to visit the Peninsula during the election campaign.

“If I get permission for this entry, I’ll go there,” she added.

Previously Sobchak refused of the campaign in the Crimea. It also offered to be held at the Peninsula new referendum and stressed that from the point of view of international law the Peninsula owned Kiev. In addition, Sobchak called residents of the Crimea defective in relation to the world. According to the candidate, in the future, the Peninsula will get poorer, and budget money for the Crimea will be spend more and more.
