Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in his Twitter congratulated the incumbent President of Russia Vladimir Putin on victory in presidential elections.
“I Congratulate Vladimir Putin on convincing victory in the presidential election!” — Medvedev wrote.
the Russian presidential Elections were held on 18 March. On 19 March the Central election Commission announced that Putin received a record in the history of post-Soviet Russia supported by: results of treatment with 95.9% of the ballots he had 76 percent of votes (52.6 million people). The turnout for the presidential election was around 67 percent.
In the 2000 elections voted for Putin 52.9% of voters in 2004 — of 71.31 per cent in 2012 to 63.6 per cent.
