The government of Moscow region announced a cheese festival

“Farmers of 40 dairies from 17 districts of the Moscow region will present more than hundreds of varieties of cheese the participants and guests of the festival, which has already become traditional. He said that the event will be attended by farmers from the Mari El Republic, Adygea, Tatarstan, Saint-Petersburg, Vladimir, Smolensk, Lipetsk, Pskov, Kaliningrad and other regions.

“Such festivals are a demonstration of the achievements of our cheese makers, proof that farmer’s cheese can be found in local areas of sales and production, but also actively enter the shelves of medium and large retailers,” said Razin.

the Minister reminded that today the suburbs is the largest producer of cheese in Russia. Local authorities in various ways support the small producers, he said. According to him, in the near future will be increased grant support.
