American plus-size model Anna o’brien shamed the guards after they told her to hide behind while shooting in a bikini. This reports the Metro.
o’brien was photographed for lookbook of the brand bathing suits in the lobby of one of the hotels of Las Vegas. Before shooting, she contacted the PR Department of the hotel to get the permit. There had approved the photo shoot, but while shooting in a leopard bikini guard approached the model and told her to hide behind.
a Woman dressed in a swimsuit and continued to pose. Then the guards came again a second time insistently demanded that she dressed. The photo shoot had to be stopped.
on the same day, insulted plus-size model has published in his Instagram a photo in a bikini with the caption, which shamed the security officer. “Funny, I photographed in bathing suits around the world, and the only place where I was told to hide behind, was Las Vegas. Whether it is a slender girl, the problem would of course not arise, but the plus-size model is a bust,” wrote o’brien.
I find it ironic that I’ve taken photos in swimsuits all over the world and the one place I was told to cover up was Las Vegas. Sure, thin girls in thongs and pasties are A OK but a plus girl in a full coverage suit, trying to take an epic editorial shot – now that’s just too much. Jokes on them though, I’d already gotten the perfect photo. They can’t erase this happened. I’m learning as I push myself to do more editorial type concepts, the push back is greater. But that’s why I push. It’s more than just a girl in the city of sin in a bikini, It’s a statement. We will be seen. We’re not hiding anymore. And we’re going to wear whatever we want, wherever we want. Not just in Vegas. EVERYWHERE. Change is coming; the question is are you going to stand in the way or help us push through?
