More than a hundred communities in 16 regions of Ukraine may remain without gas if state regulators do not include the price of gas for end-consumers a fee for using networks, company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and its businesses. This is with reference to the letter head of the company Andriy KOBOLEV the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman informs the Agency “Ukrainian news”.
COBOL in his letter reminds us that “Naftogaz” is the owner of objects of gas distribution systems total cost of 588 million hryvnia (about 1 billion 400 million rubles) and wishes to receive payment for the operation of these networks, along with government.
“Approach, in which only the state as the owner has the opportunity to profit, and other owners, is a violation of the constitutional principle of equality of all forms of ownership”, — said in the letter.
According to the company, the national Commission for regulation of energy and utilities (NKREKU) increased the gas tariff by refusing to include a new component — the cost for the operation of networks. Thus, “Naftogaz” can not obtain from consumers a fee for their pipelines.
in addition, the national Commission refused to register the agreement and to establish a new tariff for the “Donetskoblgaz” — currently the only operator that has agreed to pay for the operation of networks of “Naftogaz”. The Commission said that the agreement between the “Donetskoblgaz” and “Naftogaz” does not correspond to Ukrainian legislation.
“the Current situation pushes the company to take action aimed at curbing the illicit use of its property by carrying out conservation of the objects of gas distribution systems. This can lead to disconnection from gas supply 129 settlements in 16 regions”, — stated in the letter.
