Russia urged to withdraw its troops from Transnistria

UN General Assembly urged Russia to withdraw its troops from Transnistria. The draft resolution proposed to Moldova, it was supported by ten countries, reported RIA Novosti.

For the adoption of the document voted by 64 States, opposed by 14 countries, 83 abstained. The draft resolution says that Russia needs “without reservation or further delay” to withdraw its troops and munitions from the territory of Moldova.

In April reported that Moldova wants to negotiate with Ukraine about the withdrawal of Russian troops from Transnistria through the corridor on the territory of Ukraine.
