Ukrainian writer IREN Rozdobudko was silent for years because he decided to switch completely to the Ukrainian language. She spoke about it in an interview “Fast”.
“I was born in Donetsk, my family is Ukrainian, all the children’s school holidays, I was in Ukrainian costume, on a bed, but we talked in Russian, so the poems I started writing in the language,” shared memories of the writer.
Rozdobudko said that he moved to Kiev in 1988 and decided to remain silent until he learns the Ukrainian language. “I said nothing, then spoke and went to work in the Ukrainian edition of” she said.
